Key UK Driving Differences
Driving Side
UK drives on the LEFT side of the road

Speed Limits
In mph not km/h - 30, 60, 70 mph typical limits
Road Markings
Different markings and road sign systems
Common Challenges We Help You Overcome
These are the areas where international drivers typically need the most support.
Roundabouts
UK has more roundabouts than almost any other country. We'll teach you the give-way rules, lane selection, and how to navigate multi lane roundabouts.
Left-Side Driving
If you drove on the right, your instincts will pull you that way. We work on spatial awareness, mirror positioning, and building new habits quickly.
Mini Roundabouts
Tiny painted circles that UK drivers navigate at speed. International drivers often freeze at these. We'll demystify them completely.
Priority & Give Way Rules
UK's priority rules differ from many countries. Right of way, zebra crossings, and junction rules need specific attention.
Success Stories From International Drivers
“I've been driving for 15 years but UK roads terrified me. The roundabouts, the rain, driving on the left. My instructor was incredibly patient. After 8 hours I passed first time. Now I drive across London confidently.”
Ahmed K.
“Moving from driving on the right was scary. But the transition was smoother than expected. Within 5 lessons I felt comfortable. The instructor knew exactly which habits I needed to break and which to build.”
Maria S.
“I passed my test in China but never really drove there. UK was my first real driving experience. The assessment helped identify what I actually needed, and I passed the practical test within 3 weeks.”
