From there you move on to Trafalgar Road, Blackheath Hill and the roads around the park. Most Greenwich learners test at Sidcup, so later lessons head out that way to get to know the roads near the centre. Lessons are available on weekdays and at weekends, in a manual or an automatic.

Instructors usually begin in the streets around Westcombe Park or East Greenwich, where traffic is lighter and there is room to stop and talk things through. Once moving off, steering and simple junctions feel steady, lessons move onto Trafalgar Road and then into the town centre itself.
Sidcup is a fair drive from Greenwich, through suburban roads that feel quite different from SE10. That is why later lessons spend time around the test centre, so its roundabouts, speed limit changes and manoeuvre spots are not new on the day.
