Goodmayes Driving Test Centre on Barley Lane serves learner drivers from across East London including Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, and parts of Redbridge and Newham.
Arriving at the test centre
- Free parking available in the car park
- Arrive 10 minutes before your appointment
- Bring your provisional licence and theory certificate

Route 2: High Road Ilford
- Busy main road with bus lanes
- Multiple pedestrian crossings
- Complex junction at Ilford Hill
Route 3: Chadwell Heath
- A118 dual carriageway
- Large roundabouts
- Industrial areas with HGV traffic
Challenging spots
- Barley Lane roundabout: Multiple exits, check lane markings
- Eastern Avenue junction: Busy, requires confident lane changes
- Longbridge Road: Parked cars create narrow passing spaces
